WEDDING
-COMMON QUESTIONS:

  • How do I book and secure you for my wedding?

Head over to my contact page and fill in my contact form. I will send you an financial estimate and more info about how I keep your wedding beauty stress free and my booking details. You pay your deposit, and schedule your makeup preview. That's it! I like to keep things simple

  • When should I book my trial?

At least 4 months in advance.

  • Do I need to bring anything with me?

Yes! to streamline your service. please have a few different reference images of makeup you like, it's important to choose makeups where the models have similar colouring and features of your own.

And if possible wear a white T-Shirt so your finished result doesn't throw any unwanted reflected colours.

  • How long is the trial session?

Trials / makeup previews are usually in-between 60-90 minutes long. I love a good chat and hearing all about your wedding plans and playing around with a few different lip colours to make sure you love the finished outcome.

  • Can I have a second trial if I change my mind?

Yes, If you decide you'd like to try another style or colour scheme, I am happy to provide a second trial at my standard rates.

however during your trial I expect my clients to be 100% upfront and honest with me if you are unsatisfied with the style or outcome prior to service completion, that way I can do what's needed and change anything so you leave feeling confident, in control and ecstatic with the finished result.

  • How many people can I bring along to my preview?

I limit trial / preview guests to a maximum of one. I have decided that while I love meeting your nearest and dearest before the big day, having an audience during your makeup trial can be distracting. causing us to run longer, and if there are too many opinions floating around can lead to miscommunication between the bride and I, which can lead to an unnecessary re-trial or second preview.

  • Do you do a trial for the whole bridal party before the wedding?

If you'd like! Most commonly its usually just the bride and her mother, or maid of honour. But I don't mind either way.

  • How long will it take?

On the day normally it takes 45-60 minutes per person depending on their desired style or look, that being said we always schedule an hour per person so everyone in your party receives the time they deserve. I always prefer to run early than have you late for your ceremony.

  • Do you take payment on the day?

No, I prefer to have everything paid for in advance, so that your big day is all about you! And I don't have to worry about chasing up payment from anyone.

  • Do you charge a travel fee?

$50 travel fee day of/set up/clean up.

  • Do I have to have a trial?

No, but I highly recommend it. Having a trial before your wedding means you'll know what the finished product will look like and you'll have had the opportunity to give me any feedback to edit the look on the big day (i.e. darker eyes, stronger coverage, ect) Meaning you can relax and feel confident in what you'll receive on the big day.

  • Will you stay for touch ups?

I definitely can which will be billed at an hourly rate.
